In the land of Samaria, a thousands year old war between Angels and Demons rages. Demons ravage the land, terrorizing the Mortals and the other good Races. The Angels attempt to put a stop to the suffering, but the Demons have them matched....

Though the Mortals are vaguely aware of the War, the other Races are far more privy to it. The Fae, the long-time secret Race, has done something out-of-character and began to frequent human establishments to heal or heal others that have been caught in the crossfire. The rulers of the five great cities, Nirvana, Valhalla, Nikis, Fallas, and Germaine City, have been increasingly concerned about the flooded numbers of Fae in their cities, the numerous Youma (half-human, half beast creatures) sightings and attacks, as well as troubles in the home front.
